Zamzam Well

Zamzam (Blessed Holy Water)
There is a widespread belief among Muslims that the Zamzam spring is the location of the origin of a holy water. The water originates from the Zamzam well, which is situated within the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This holy site is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This particular well may be found approximately twenty metres to the east of the Al-Kaaba, which is the holiest location in all of Islam. The mystical importance of Zamzam water is demonstrated once again by the intriguing history of this water and the myriad of ways it can be utilised. Because of the miracle that took place at that well, Islamic tradition places a considerable amount of importance on the holiness of the water that comes from the Zamzam well.The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam; it is a kind of food and a healing from sickness.” – Saheeh al-Jaami, 3302
